ASCEND Website updates

Have you visited the ASCEND website lately? Several important updates have been added, including:

  • A homepage outcomes counter
  • Revised ‘Partners’ page, outlining the 4 steps for partners to join ASCEND
  • A summary of Marketing Toolkit materials for each partner
  • And much more!

Thank you to Noha Hamed, our ASCEND Program Administrator, who made all ASCEND Website updates!

ASCEND Partner Video

We would like to share this brand new ASCEND Partner demonstration video, created specifically for our partners. It’s only 4 minutes long, and it highlight the benefits and materials we provide to each ASCEND partner. Special thanks to our ASCEND Program Coordinator and Educational Technologist, Narissa MacLeod, who recorded, edited and narrated the entire video.  This video is also available on the Partners page of the ASCEND website.

ASCEND national outreach campaign

In order to make ASCEND available to more eligible clients across Canada, in Q3 we launched a national outreach campaign. You can see all current program partners on our ASCEND Partner Map

ASCEND App Updated

Every participant that registers for ASCEND receives credentials to access the ASCEND Mobile App once their ASCEND cohort completes. The ASCEND App is a stripped-down app that contains key concepts found in the full program. We have completed a full update of the ASCEND App, and all current and future app users will be able to access the updated version. The ASCEND App can be downloaded here, and one sample module can be accessed by anyone on Apple and Android devices.

Participant quotes from Q3

We ask each client that completes ASCEND to share their thoughts. We received amazing feedback from your clients in Q3! There’s too many to print here, but we’d like to share two comments that summarize the positive feedback we received.

In this quarter we would like to highlight the feedback from LINC students that completed ASCEND through our referring partner Vancouver Community College. Three ASCEND cohorts for LINC students were completed in the quarter. Thank you to Cindy Chan and all VCC staff involved in making this collaboration possible!

It is difficult for you to learn such comprehensive soft skills in other channels. This is a great course and well worth eight weeks of study!”
